The Guild Challenge for 2025-26 is to make a team project and enter it in the 2026 fairs. The idea is that each member of the team does a separate part, like one person spins and the other knits, or one dyes, another spins, and another weaves. Talk about playing to your strength!
Cheryle did the Krokbrag weaving on one side while Bekah did the color work knitting on the other side of these Scandinavian pillows.
Mary D found an old colorful warp and wove it up. Nancy S. needle felted the back shoulder and buttons. Mary finished out the sewing of the vest.
Rachel made some art yarn inserting blue randomly amongst the white. Mary D. wove a rug with that.
Laurie spun the yarn and her daughter knitted a hat and a scarf.
Barbara P spun up the colorful yarn and Beth H. knitted them into mittens and fingerless gloves, with enough leftover yarn for perhaps a hat.
Elizabeth spun the yarn. Monika knitted the hat, and Elise needle felted the owl pin. So cute!
Lana got some of Judy Bailey's unfinished tatting, who passed away a few years ago, and embellished it into a pillow case.
